Accidents causing traffic delays on I-64
Weather conditions have caused multiple accidents on I-64 between Barboursville and Milton.
An accident was reported around 2:30 p.m. in the westbound lanes of I-64 near the Merritts Creek exit.
Emergency crews are currently working on clearing the accident.
Westbound lanes remain closed between the Huntington Mall and Milton exits after an accident occurred around 1:45 p.m. near the 23-mile marker.
Traffic is being diverted to U.S. 60 from the Milton exit.
One of the vehicles involved in that accident was a box truck that has reportedly jackknifed, according to dispatchers.
Eastbound lanes were closed for about an hour after an accident occurred around 1 p.m. near the Milton exit.
Cabell County Dispatch reported three possible vehicles involved in the accident, which occurred at the 27-mile marker.
