Diabetes & Wound Care Center honored

RUSSELL, Ky. -- The Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital Diabetes & Wound Care Center has earned the Diversified Clinical Services Center of Distinction Award for its patient satisfaction rates, healing results and clinical outcomes during the past 12 months. The center also earned the Robert A. Warriner, M.D., Center of Excellence Award for achieving the aforementioned benchmarks for the second straight year.

Both awards will be presented at a special ceremony at 4 p.m. Wednesday, June 30, at the center.

Out of approximately 300 Diversified Clinical Services wound centers nationwide, Bellefonte is among 10 percent to achieve both awards. The hospital partners with Diversified Clinical Services Inc. to provide specialized wound treatments at Bellefonte. Diversified Clinical Services is the largest wound care management company in the world, according to a release from the hospital.
