Massey joins Nelson Mullins as associate

HUNTINGTON -- Sarah Massey has joined Nelson Mullins Riley & Scarborough LLP's Huntington office as an associate. Massey practices in the areas of appeals, healthcare litigation, class actions and mass torts, and product liability litigation.

She previously worked for Nelson Mullins as a summer associate in 2011. She also interned for Justice Margaret L. Workman at the Supreme Court of Appeals of West Virginia and was also a part of West Virginia's Governor Internship Program.

Massey completed externships for the Honorable Phillip D. Gaujot in the West Virginia Circuit Court and for the Honorable Joseph R. Goodwin, chief judge, U.S. District Court in the Southern District of West Virginia. She is also a current member of the Defense Trial Counsel of West Virginia and of DRI - The Voice of the Defense Bar.

Massey earned a Juris Doctor from West Virginia University College of Law in 2012 and a bachelor's degree in English from West Virginia University in 2009.
