Dominion to move about 100 workers to Richmond, Va. HQ

CLARKSBURG, W.Va. -- Dominion plans to transfer about 100 workers from West Virginia and Pennsylvania to its headquarters in Virginia.

Dominion spokesman Chuck Penn tells The Exponent Telegram that most of the workers are in Clarksburg. Some are in Pittsburgh.

Penn calls the move an "essential reorganization" that's necessary for the company to remain competitive.

He says no jobs will be lost. The company hopes the affected workers will be willing to relocate to Richmond, Va., where they will perform the same jobs.

Airlines' on-time performance slips from last year

WASHINGTON -- Your flight was more likely to be late in January than a year ago mostly because of poorer performance at several smaller airlines.

The government said Tuesday that 81 percent of flights arrived within 14 minutes of schedule during January. That's down from 83.7 percent in the same month last year, although it's better than in December.

Virgin America had the best on-time rating. Frontier, ExpressJet and American Eagle got the worst marks.
