InfoCision achieves new accreditation
AKRON, Ohio -- InfoCision Management Corporation has officially achieved status as an accredited contact center organization.
It was notified by the American Teleservices Association (ATA) Self Regulatory Organization, and is the second company worldwide to achieve this accreditation for upholding standards of quality and compliance in the teleservices industry, according to a release from InfoCision.
To qualify for accreditation, a company must go through and pass an in-depth, three step process that takes around six months and is overseen by an external auditor. ATA-SRO accreditation is bestowed upon companies that have policies and procedures in place for staying compliant with federal and state laws, and observing a strict set of accepted industry best practices.
The American Teleservices Organization created the ATA-SRO in 2008 to encourage and enable self-monitoring of compliance with rules defining appropriate teleservices techniques including sales methods, call times and compliance with do-not-call regulations.
The organization seeks to formulate industry protocols to meet consumer needs and the needs of member firms.
