Workshop to focus on new Internet marketing strategies

May 09, 2008 @ 11:58 PM

HUNTINGTON -- A workshop on new strategies in Internet marketing will be held in Huntington next week.

The Next Generation Marketing workshop goes on from 8 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Tuesday, May 13, at Pullman Plaza Hotel. The workshop is a collaborative project between Jeff James of Mythology in Charleston, Justin Seibert of Direct Online Marketing in Wheeling and Skip Lineberg of Maple Creative in Charleston, according to a news release.

"Many people think that marketing is void of accountability," Lineberg said in a press release. "Thanks to the Internet and especially the advent of many Web 2.0 tools, there has never been a more opportune time to create marketing programs that are fully accountable."

Other guest speakers scheduled include Elizabeth Pellegrin, chief marketing officer of CAMC; Bill Rock, president and CEO of Snowshoe Mountain Resort; and Brad Howe, assist athletic director of West Virginia University.
