JoS. A. Bank set to open store in Pullman Square

JoS. A. Bank Clothiers is getting close to opening in Huntington's Pullman Square. Signs were up, clothing was in place and displays were in the windows on Wednesday at the store, which is located two spaces to the left of Cold Stone Creamery.

The store offers men's clothing -- classic tailored and casual wear, along with outerwear, shoes and accessories -- and plans to open by Saturday, said Bill Dargusch of Metropolitan Partners, the leasing agent at Pullman Square.

MAGNETECH: Magnetech is just completing a move from 1029 7th Ave. into the former Owens Illinois property at 501 West 8th Ave., and it's inviting the public to come see its newly renovated facility.

An open house is scheduled from 10:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. Friday, Nov. 9. The business is inviting customers, vendors and associates for a chance to meet the staff, see the facility and enjoy refreshments. Guests can RSVP to bwhite@magnetech.com or 304-529-3264.

GOLD STAR CHILI: Celebrating one year since it opened in Ashland, Gold Star Chili, The Flavor of Cincinnati, is now offering catering of items such as Cheese Coneys, 3-Ways and Double Decker sandwiches.

Four different catering options are available for company meetings, holiday gatherings, tailgate parties and other special celebrations. The service is in addition to serving up Cincinnati Chili Parlor classics at the restaurant at 24 Russell Plaza Drive.

CHAMBER OF COMMERCE: The Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce is hosting a peanut butter drive this holiday season to benefit the Huntington Area Food Bank. Member companies are asked to collect jars of peanut butter -- any size -- through Tuesday, Nov. 27. Companies that collect 30 jars or more can have them picked up by the food bank. Those that collect fewer than 30 can drop them off between 9 a.m. and 4 p.m. Monday through Friday at the Chamber office at 1108 3rd Ave., or from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. Monday through Saturday at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena Box Office.
