Four from OLBH selected for program

ASHLAND -- Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital announces four staff members have been selected to attend the Bon Secours Health System Ministry Leadership Formation, a program of the Bon Secours Center for Ministry Leadership in Marriotsville, Md.

Program participants selected from OLBH are Chris Crum, manager of Non-Invasive Cardiology and Wellness; David Hall, director of Plant Operations; Mark Gordon, OLBH Chief Executive Officer and Diana Williams, director of Community Recourses.

The program was developed in collaboration with the University of Notre Dame College of Business. Ministry leadership formation is a lifelong process of sustained commitment to serving others. The initial nine-month program is followed by a second nine-month mentoring program. The program begins March 25.

Cabell Bar Association elects new officers

HUNTINGTON -- The Cabell County Bar Association convened at the Cabell County Courthouse on Friday, Feb. 29, for their 2008 annual meeting. A forum for candidates for the position of Cabell County Circuit Judge and special recognition made of the passing of local attorney and civil rights leader Herb Henderson.

Additionally, the membership elected the following slate of officers for 2008: Chad Lovejoy, president; Lee Murray Hall, vice president; Dustin Haley, secretary; Melissa Foster Bird, treasurer; and Bert Ketchum, immediate past president.

Lovejoy is a founding member of Duffield & Lovejoy PLLC in Huntington and a graduate of West Virginia University and the West Virginia University College of Law.

Hall is a member of Jenkins Fenstermaker PLLC in Huntington and a graduate of Western Kentucky University and the University of Kentucky College of Law.

Haley is a member of Campbell Woods PLLC in Huntington and a graduate of Berea College and the University of Kentucky College of Law.

Bird is a partner with Huddleston Bolen LLP and a graduate of Miami University and The Ohio State University.

Ketchum is a partner with Greene Ketchum and a graduate of Ohio University and John Marshall Law School.

The group is planning an Administrative Professional's Day Luncheon in April, a regional Continuing Legal Education Seminar in July, and a Joint Event with the Cabell County Medical Society in the fall.
