All Med receives accreditation
NITRO -- All Med, a regional home medical equipment company, has achieved the Award of Accreditation from the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation, based in Waterloo, Iowa.
All Med earned the three-year accreditation after completing a comprehensive application that focuses on patient care, financial stability and a commitment to quality operational practices and procedures.
"We sought accreditation by the Healthcare Quality Association on Accreditation to demonstrate that our company is committed to providing excellent patient care and safety in a financially solvent environment," said Bill Sturgeon and Mark Saber, owners of All Med, in a press release. "This award also reinforces that our commitment to quality is ongoing."
All Med has five locations serving southern West Virginia, south east Ohio and northeastern Kentucky.
New RV ranch opens
ASHTON -- Watterson's Sunnyside Ranch, a new RV ranch for campers in Mason County, will have its grand opening from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Sunday, Aug. 17.
During the grand opening, bids will be accepted for the upcoming season of April 1 through Nov. 1, and refreshments will be served, according to a news release. The ranch, owned by Charlie Watterson, is currently open on weekends for primitive RV camping only, due to construction.
The ranch will have 80 to 100 annual lease river lots with about 51 of those lots available on the riverfront, a petting zoo, nature trail, playgrounds, boat slips and light commissary. Other amenities include electric and water hookups, free sewage and trash and two shower houses.
