The Herald-Dispatch offers advertising opportunities in The Parthenon
HUNTINGTON -- Area businesses have new opportunities to reach Marshall University students through advertising in The Parthenon, the university's student newspaper, as part of a partnership with The Herald-Dispatch.
In the fall of 2007, The Herald-Dispatch began managing advertising for the university newspaper, which is distributed free of charge around campus, and reaches a mix of students, faculty and staff at Marshall. This September, The Parthenon adds a Monday edition to its previous four-day-per-week publication schedule, according to a news release.
"The Parthenon is a terrific vehicle for targeting young adults, students of all ages and Marshall faculty and staff," said Amy Howat, director of advertising and marketing for The Herald-Dispatch. "This is a valuable audience for many retailers and service providers in the Tri-State. We're pleased to be able to provide this opportunity for our advertisers and, at the same time, help the journalism students at Marshall improve The Parthenon with full-color capability and an additional publication day."
For more information about advertising in The Parthenon, advertisers can call Jeanna Hicks at (304) 526-2836.
