Abul-Khoudoud joins King's Daughters

ASHLAND -- Pulmonologist Mohamad Abul-Khoudoud, M.D., has joined King's Daughters Medical Specialties -- Pulmonary and Critical Care.

Abul-Khoudoud has relocated his practice from Greenup County. Abul-Khoudoud earned his medical degree from The American University of Beirut, Faculty of Medicine in Lebanon. He completed his internship, residency and pulmonary and critical care medicine fellowship at State University of New York at Buffalo. He is board certified by the American Board of Internal Medicine with subspecialty certifications in critical care medicine, pulmonary disease and sleep medicine.

Abul-Khoudoud welcomes current and new patients at his office located in Suite G10 in the lower level of King's Daughters Heart and Vascular Center on 22nd Street.

Dr. Woolums joins Cabell Huntington

HUNTINGTON -- Dr. C. Stephen Woolums, an experienced urologist, has joined the medical staffs at Cabell Huntington Hospital and Marshall Surgery. Woolums specializes in the treatment of kidney stones, male and female incontinence, overactive bladder, pelvic prolapse, recurrent urinary tract infections and other urological disorders.

Woolums earned his medical degree and completed his residency training in urology at the University of Kentucky College of Medicine. He is a diplomat of the American Board of Urology and board certified by the American Urologic Association.

Woolums is also Medical Director of the Kidney Stone Program at Cabell Huntington Hospital, where he provides minimally invasive surgical treatments for kidney stones. Additionally, he is an experienced robotic surgeon using the daVinci Surgical System for procedures such as kidney surgery and prostate surgery.

Dr. Brown joins Our Lady of Bellefonte's Professional Pediatrics

RUSSELL, Ky.-- Officials at Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital have announced pediatrician Kelli Brown, M.D., has joined the hospital's medical staff.

Brown is a graduate of the Marshall University School of Medicine where she also completed an internship and residency. Brown has joined Professional Pediatrics at 105 Thomas Road in Russell, where she replaces Susan Lichtenberger, M.D., who recently retired after 20 years of service to the hospital. Offutt Nord members named 'Best Lawyers'
