Business of the week: Metro Community Federal Credit Union

HUNTINGTON -- Metro Community Federal Credit Union is the Huntington Regional Chamber of Commerce Business of the Week for the week of March 24.

Metro Community Federal Credit Union is located at 215 18th St. in Huntington. Originally chartered in 1954 as an occupational based field of membership, in 1982 the charter was changed to a community based field of membership. The credit union now has membership open to anyone living, working, attending school, or who worships in Cabell and Wayne Counties, W.Va., and Lawrence County, Ohio.

The credit union offers financial products and services, including savings and checking accounts; Individual Retirement Accounts; consumer loans; Visa debit and credit cards; club and youth accounts; certificates; and online-account access with bill pay. Deposits are federally insured by the National Credit Union Administration.
