Entrepreneurs' group to meet June 19
HUNTINGTON -- This month's Entrepreneurs' Cafe will be held at noon Wednesday, June 19, at the Chase Bank building on the corner of 5th Avenue and 10th St., according to Unlimited Future Inc.
Lunch will be served in the third floor conference room.
The goal of the Entrepreneurs' Cafe is to help develop an entrepreneurial network in the Tri-State by giving entrepreneurs exposure and providing them with microgrants. Each month, a few entrepreneurs give a presentation about a business idea, and an audience votes on their favorite. The winner gets a microgrant and in-kind donations from other businesses.
This month's presenters will be Victoria Wilburn, a children's author and poet; Brent Eliot Parker with Publisher Place Inc. a local nonprofit publishing company; and Jamie Redman, owner of Keepers of the Lighthouse, LLC, which provides hair extensions, wigs and accessories.
The cost to attend the luncheon is $15. Of that, $10 goes to the winning presenter and $5 goes to the caterer. Lunch will be provided by Johnny's Homemade Eats & Treats.
To register, visit unlimitedfuture.org, and find the Entrepreneurs' Cafe tab. For questions or to be a presenter, call 304-697-3007 or email email@example.com.
