Local unions OK separate Frontier contracts

CHARLESTON -- Locals 2276 and 2001 of the Communications Workers of America and Frontier Communications announced Tuesday that represented employees ratified separate contracts.

"We're happy to have reached a successful conclusion to both of these contracts, and we look forward to continuing to provide the very best service possible for all of our customers," CWA International representative Elaine Harris said in a press release.

Local 2276 represents Frontier employees in the Bluefield, Princeton and Welch areas. Local 2001 represents employees in the Bruceton Mills, Clay, Grantsville, Parsons, New Haven, Rupert, Wayne and Worthington areas. Combined, they represent 142 Frontier employees.
