Clydesdales coming to help recognize Eagle Distributing

Jun. 13, 2013 @ 12:00 AM

ASHLAND -- The famous Clydesdale horses will appear in the Tri-State in July as part of a national recognition for Eagle Distributing Co.

Anheuser-Busch recently honored Eagle with the Ambassadors of Excellence Award, the company's highest award for its independent distributors.

"Eagle Distributing Company was one of only six distributors in the entire network of more than 600 independent distributors nationwide to win this prestigious designation of Ambassador," said Casey Hill, president of Eagle.

The Clydesdales are scheduled to have appearances in Ironton on July 11, Ashland on July 12 and Huntington on July 13.

They will deliver the "Big Jake" Award, which is a "bronze Clydesdale statue that makes our designation as Ambassador of Excellence official!" said Hill.

Eagle Distributing is part of Triple Crown Beverage Group, which includes Eagle Distributing in Huntington, Spriggs Distributing in Ironton and Eagle Distributing in Ashland.
