Heritage Station hosting Christmas shopping, charity event Saturday
HUNTINGTON — The Shops at Heritage Station are teaming up to give back to the community and each in their own way.
From 11 a.m. to 3 p.m. Saturday, Dec. 14, the shops at the historic Heritage Station, located at 210 11th St. Huntington, will be bustling with goodwill and holiday spirit during an event called The 12 Ways of Giving.
By shopping locally, folks can also be helping some great organizations as well. There will also be live music by the Thundertones, a book signing inside Red Caboose, by local author Jeanette Rowsey (from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.) a Christmas Tag making workshop at Common Ground, pictures with Santa inside the CVB by Morrison Studio (11 a.m.. to 2 p.m.), a Gingerbread House Making contest at Wild Ramp and much more.

Common Ground — Habitat for Humanity, 10 percent of sales
Finds & Designs — Huntington Area Food Bank, 15 percent off with any non-perishable food donation
Brand Yourself — Toy Train, bring a toy and get 25 percent off regular priced items
Lambs Gate Market — The Healing Place, $5 raffle tickets for $50 Lamb's Gate gift card or large vase. All proceeds to The Healing Place
CVB & The Red Caboose — accepting donations for Veterans
The Wild Ramp — Contact of Huntington, accepting donations plus portion of sales
River & Rail Bakery — Branches Domestic Violence Shelter, 10 percent of sales
Brown Dog Yoga — Huntington Area Food Bank , Tuesday evening and Sunday evening classes in December are free with five items of non-perishable food to support Huntington Area Food Bank.
Birds of a Feather — One by One Animal Advocates, Donate $10 or a pet item and receive 15 percent off
Let's Eat — Salvation Army, 10 percent of sales
Tap House and SIP — Ronald McDonald House, 10 percent of sales
Bottle & Wedge — Big Brothers/Big Sisters of the Tri-State, 10 percent of sales
