OSHA classes to be offered in Charleston

CHARLESTON -- The Occupational Safety and Health Administration is offering a 10-hour general industry course this week, to be followed by a 30-hour course in December.

The OSHA 10-hour course is a two-day seminar from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday and Thursday, Nov. 18-19, at the Small Business Association Office in Charleston, 405 Capitol St. It will be in the fourth floor conference room.

It is intended to provide a variety of general industry safety and health training to workers of all levels. Successful completion will earn participants a 10-hour OSHA card.

The 30-hour OSHA class will be from 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. Wednesday through Friday, Dec. 2-4, at the West Virginia State University Economic Development Center, 1506 Kanawha Blvd. W. in Charleston.
