Five OLBH nurses chosen to represent hospital
RUSSELL, Ky. -- Officials with Our Lady of Bellefonte Hospital (OLBH) have announced five nurses represented the hospital on Friday, May 9, at the 27th annual Kentucky Nurse Day Recognition Awards ceremony in Louisville, Ky.
The following nurses were nominated by their peers as nurses who demonstrate clinical excellence in the workplace. Nominations submitted reflect their regard and admiration for the abilities, commitment and professionalism of the nurses selected.

Local employee earns RCBI award for May
HUNTINGTON -- Xiaoping Wang of Proctorville, Ohio, has been named Employee of the Month for May 2008 at the Robert C. Byrd Institute for Advanced Flexible Manufacturing (RCBI). Wang serves as RCBI's statewide systems administrator. He is headquartered in the Institute's Huntington office.
A native of Fuxin, China, Wang earned his bachelor of science degree in electrical engineering from Fuxin Mining Institute in 1978 and his Master of Science in electrical and computer engineering from West Virginia University in 1987. He began his career in 1970 as an electrician.
He became an assistant lecturer at Fuxin Mining Institute in 1978. He began his career at WVU in 1985 as a research assistant and ultimately became system manager and research associate in the Office of Computer Technology and Technical Support Services for the WVU Extension Service before joining RCBI in 1991.
Wang, 54, and his wife, Mei Li, are the parents of two sons, Scott, 27, and Nathan, 14.
