Two new businesses collaborate openings

HUNTINGTON -- Paris Consignments and Plan An Elegant Tea Party Catering Service are new to the Huntington business community and are celebrating grand openings.

Paris Consignments, owned and operated by Teresa Hensley, is located at 537 Camden Road. The boutique sells home and yard decor, household items, unique pieces of furniture, vintage pieces, prom gowns and more. The store also helps customers find specific items.

Hensley first started selling her wares on eBay. After several years, she decided to open up the shop.

"I have often heard, you can always find that 'special little something' you've been looking for at the little Shops in Paris. That is what gave me the inspiration to call my boutique Paris Consignments." Hensley stated in a press release. "I also wanted to offer my community a special place they could sell their items in a unique and no hassle way."

JoAnn Brewer, owner of Plan An Elegant Tea Party Catering Service, offers adults and children packages that can be tailored to their needs. Parties can be catered in their home or a location of choice for any occasion. The tea includes preparation, deliver, set-up, hosting and cleanup.

Brewer's previous events include baby and wedding showers, family reunions and Christian ladies' retreats.

"I have wanted to open a tea business for many years now. There are many unique restaurants in town, but no tea rooms. I felt it would be a better service to the community by offering them a 'transportable' tea party, if you will. Thus my Tea Party Catering Service was born," Brewer said in a press release.
