QUESTION & ANSWER: Should there be a minimal education requirement for magistrate candidates that includes some type of college degree?

"I believe education is limitless. There are no degrees required for president, us senate, state treasure, etc. Life experiences and training in our career plays a unique roll in qualifications for magistrate. Wayne County has the right to decide who they vote for-this is their court- the peoples court."

OTHER CANDIDATES: Wiles faces Andy Battista, David Ferguson and Teddy E. Mays for three open seats.
