QUESTION & ANSWER: If the home rule pilot program is extended by the West Virginia Legislature, do you favor the occupation tax?
"It's irrelevant if I support the occupation tax because none of our state legislators support it. Parts of "home rule" work, like Huntington's Land Bank program. The recent demolitions are a result. We need to work with our Legislators to keep the parts of "Home Rule" that move Huntington forward."
OTHER CANDIDATES: Ball faces Democrat Rebecca Thacker and Republicans Cal Kent and Gordon Ramey II for two open seats in the general election.
