BIOGRAPHY: AGE: 74

EDUCATION: Cabell County Schools, BS in Agriculture WVU 1959.

CURRENT OFFICE OR OCCUPATION: House of Delegates old 15th district. Elected 1988 & 90, appointed 2000, elected each term since. Currently in office.

OTHER WORK HISTORY: Retired, former owner Stadium Bookstore, Stationers-Morgan's, and Morgan's, Inc.

CIVIC ORGANIZATIONS: Currently president Stella Fuller Settlement, Inc. Member, board of Cammack Children's Center, sec'y/treas Huntington Clinical Foundation, director emeritus Huntington Symphony, board of WV retail association and WV Chamber of Commerce and the MU Campus Christian Center. Past president Huntington Rotary Club, Huntington Symphony Orchestra, Greater Huntington Chamber of Commerce, District 5 National Office Products Association, and the WV retail Association. I am an ordained deacon in the Diocese of WV and currently serve Trinity Episcopal in Huntington.

FAMILY: Married to the former Elizabeth Ainslie for 51 years, four children and seven grandchildren.

QUESTION & ANSWER: What should the Legislature do to help West Virginia build an economy less reliant on extraction industries?

"We need to continue the programs of reducing taxes: corporate net, business franchise, and food. Add additional training programs to work force development for drilling skills to provide employment. Utilize the positive work with the new business court and appeals court reviews."
