According to its Web site, The Ohio Village Muffin baseball club is a group dedicated to the preservation of the game's history and to the growth of vintage baseball throughout the country.

The team plays each year from April to November.

The club travels throughout Ohio and beyond participating in festivals and events interpreting the way baseball was played in 1860 America.

The demonstration of 19th century baseball and its related history are of primary importance.

Historical authenticity is also important in order to accurately portray the game as it was played in the 1860 era.
