X-Cave Walking Tour, daily at 9:30 a.m. 1 and 4:30 p.m. Nov. 2-April 2. Features two vertical joint passages that meander through a larger layer of limestone which puts you up-close to many beautiful cave formations. Tour meets in front of the Welcome Center. Walking distance: about a quarter mile. Duration: about 45 minutes. The tour includes 75 stair steps through narrow passages; some stooping and is electrically lit. Call 606-286-4411.
