Winterplace prepping for upcoming ski season
GHENT, W.VA. — Can you believe another summer has flown by and the kids are back in school, the leaves are changing and the temperature is dropping? You know what we are thinking about...we are thinking about...cold temperatures and snow. It will soon be time to dig out the skis and boards and get them tuned and ready for the 2009 / 2010 Ski Season.
This summer Winterplace has been busy installing 34 fully automated snowmaking guns on Plunge, Nose Dive, Snow Bowl, Drop Off and Look At Me. Plus, they put new fan guns on Compromise, Meadows, Highland, Panorama and Glades. These significant improvements will allow Winterplace to open more terrain faster! Included in the expansion is the widening one of the expert slopes - Nose Dive.
Now is the time to purchase discounted season passes, up to 10 percent off now through Nov. 15. Plus, rent your equipment for the season you can even rent a seasonal locker to store your gear.
