Take a look at all the love going on at state park lodges and you'd think Lincoln's birthday is bringing sexy back.
The former president's birthday kicks off the President's Day holiday weekend, which also happens to include Valentine's Day on Sunday.
The region's state parks have you covered with well-timed getaway weekends filled with dinner, shows and the best of the great outdoors.
Here's a look at some of those weekends:
Carter Caves State Resort Park, Olive Hill, Ky.
Valentine's Dinner Theater is set for Friday, Feb. 12, featuring a theatrical performance by Cool Waters, purveyors of song and humor in the cowboy tradition. Guests are encouraged to dress as cowboys and cowgirls as part of the interactive retro western night. Admission fee of $34.95 plus tax per person includes dinner and show. Greenbo Lake State Resort Park, Greenup, Ky.
Valentine's Special Getaway is set for Saturday and Sunday, Feb. 13-14. Greenbo is offering a romantic getaway for $58 for two that includes one night's lodging at Jesse Stuart Lodge, a continental breakfast and tickets to see Sandy Harmon's Kentucky Chautauqua performance of "Lily May Ledford Coon Creek Girl" (1917-1985), starring Sandy Harmon as Lily May Ledford in a one-woman performance. Jenny Wiley State Resort Park, Prestonsburg, Ky.

Blue Licks Battlefield State Resort Park, Mount Olive, Ky.
The park will offer $39 room rates on Sunday, Feb. 14. It also will offer a Valentine's Dinner Theater that includes Blue Licks on Friday and Saturday, Feb. 19-20, with a show of popular love songs and scenes through time. A package that includes one night's lodging, dinner theater and breakfast for two is available for $129 plus tax. The dinner theater only is $34.95 plus tax per person. Call 800-443-7008.
Cumberland Falls State Resort Park, Corbin, Ky.
Valentine Getaway Weekend, set for Friday through Sunday, Feb. 12-14, Cumberland Falls has been considered one of Kentucky's most romantic attractions for decades. Friday evening kicks off with a dance with music provided by a deejay. A mystery theater will be offered Saturday evening. The entire weekend package is $299 per couple, which includes two night's lodging, a dance on Friday and Saturday, evening dinner theater and breakfast on Sunday. Single person price is $239. The park is offering a package for singles for one night. Enjoy our Valentine's Day Dinner Theater Saturday only for $134.50 (single) plus tax. Bring a friend for $179.50 (double) plus tax. Natural Bridge State Resort Park, Slade, Ky.
Valentine's Dinner Getaway is set for Saturday, Feb. 13. Enter the world of romance at Natural Bridge this Valentine's Day. A special buffet featuring carved on the line roasted prime rib, pecan encrusted salmon filet and marmalade glazed chicken will be offered. Spend the night on Saturday for a package price of $129.95, which includes 1 p.m. check in, dinner, lodge room and Sunday breakfast. Pine Mountain State Resort Park, Pineville, Ky.
That's Amore! is set for Saturday, Feb. 13. Pine Mountain State Resort Park will host an Italian-themed, sweethearts' dinner. Entrees will include lasagna, spaghetti and a saute station where the park's chef will prepare shrimp, chicken and vegetables to preference. Rounding out the evening's special menu will be a variety of pastas and sauces, Italian-style vegetables, rolls, garlic bread, various pasta salads on the bar and an assortment of desserts. A harpist will play, setting the mood and creating a romantic atmosphere for all guests on this special dining occasion. The cost of the dinner is $16.95 per person.
