Purple Fiddle and Canaan Valley teaming up for music fest
DAVIS, W.Va. — The Thomas, West Virginia-based Purple Fiddle Coffeehouse and Canaan Valley Resort have teamed up to host an outdoor jamfest featuring a host of regional musical acts at Canaan Valley Resort’s pavilion on Saturday, August 16 beginning at 1:00 p.m. and lasting until 1:00 a.m., resort officials announced.
“Music lovers everywhere will enjoy this special, outdoor concert,” said Troy Cardwell, General Manager for Canaan Valley Resort. “The Purple Fiddle is widely known as the place to go to see great musicians. We’re pooling our strengths on this event to offer great bands in an outdoor setting that will be perfect for adults and kids, alike.”
Bands scheduled to perform include the Hackensaw Boys, Scholars Word, Morwenna & Jay, Theresa Andersson, Jim Bianco, Hoots & Hellmouth, Christabel & The Jons and West Virginia reggae legends Rasta Rafiki.
Ticket prices are $30 before Aug. 16 or $35 per person at the door and may be purchased through the Purple Fiddle.
