Rotary Park to host disc golf tournament on Saturday and Sunday

 Over the winter, Rotary Park in East Huntington became home to a second 18-hole disc golf course.

  Now it’s time to show it off as the Huntington Disc Golf Association hosts the CSX Pro/Am Open May 17-18 at Rotary Park. 

 A PDGA B-Tier Sanctioned event, the CSX Pro/Am Open will feature play on the two courses with three different layouts. The tournament starts at 4 p.m. Friday with doubles; Saturday, check-in is from 7 to 8:30 a.m. while Sunday start time is 9 a.m. for the last round tee-off.
 

Registration is $40 for rec and juniors; $50 intermediate; all advanced $60 and pros, $80. There’s a $1,000 purse for pros and first 100 registered get a shirt, disc and towel.
