Musical Arts Guild gets lost in the '50s with upcoming concert
HUNTINGTON — If you mosey down to Marshall University’s campus on Saturday night you may get a little lost in the ‘50s.
The Musical Arts Guild is getting dolled up in the poodle skirts, the bobby socks and those bad, black leather jackets as they finger snap back in time with a dinner theater show called, “Doo Wop Saturday Night.”
Doors open at 5 p.m. at the Don Morris Room at the Marshall Memorial Student Center.
Tickets are $50 per person with $25 of that tax-deductible since that money pumps up the Guild's three annual $1,000 scholarships for Marshall vocal, instrumental and theater students.
The board has selected the winners which will be announced at the concert Saturday night.
Folks wanting to attend the dinner/concert should make reservations by Thursday.
Call (304) 525-1854.
