Cabell library looking for art work for upcoming festival
HUNTINGTON — An exhibition of works of art will be part of a festival that will present music, dance and the artwork of emerging artists at the Cabell County Public Library from Tuesday, April 22 through Thursday, April 24.
Funded by a Library Services and Technology Act grant awarded by the West Virginia Library Commission, the Festival will be an ambitious multimedia event aimed at a wide public audience.
They are now soliciting works of art that will be displayed and available for sale at the Main Library located at 455 Ninth Street in Huntington. All art forms are welcome. Work must be either mounted or framed and wired and should not be older than five years.
Prospective entries should be submitted in a digital format such as CD, DVD or email attachment to: howe,april@gmail.com.
Submissions can be delivered to the Main Library or sent to Cabell County Public Library, 455 Ninth Street, Huntington, WV 25701, attention: April Howe. The deadline for submissions is April 14.
