Here's some more info about the 51st annual Appalachian Model Railroad Show
WHAT: Organized by the Appalachian Model Railroad Club, the show features a dozen or so model train layouts that come in just about every size gauge, and 80 tables filled with railroad books, memorabilia, and everything you ever needed to get into the hobby of model railroading.
WHEN: 5 to 9 p.m. Friday; 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday and noon to 4:30 p.m. Sunday.
WHERE: Veterans Memorial Field House, 2590 5th Ave., Huntington
HOW MUCH: Admission is only $1 for children under 12 and $5 for adults at the door.
CONCESSIONS: The Field House will have its full concessions including hotdogs, Bahama Mamas, BBQ, chili, coffee, soft drinks and more.
ABOUT THE CLUB: Based out of Ceredo, The Appalachian Model Railroad Club, meets on Thursday evenings at Heritage Farm Museum and Village. For more info about the club, call 304-429-3885 or 304-429-1432.
