Cornhole Championship In Chesapeake
Move over golf, football and cross country, there’s a new sport at Chesapeake High School, at least in the parking lot.
The Chesapeake High School Athletic Booters are bringing the backyard favorite game, Cornhole to the high school parking lot for the Ohio Championship of Cornhole that starts at 11 a.m. Saturday.
Registration begins at 9 a.m., and courts open at 10 a.m. for warm-ups. Entry fee is $40 per team.
First-place will win $300 and the title of Ohio Champion of Cornhole.
There will also be full concessions, local bands and music throughout the day, face painting and balloons, a car and bike show and Miss Ohio Roberta Camp singing the national anthem.
All proceeds go to the Athletic Boosters.
Call (740) 867-5958.
