Huntington Paranormal prepping for Swinefest ghost, cemetery tours
HUNTINGTON — Huntington Paranormal is preparing for the fall season with more ghost tours. The group’s ever popular Haunted & Historic Guyandotte Tours are returning for another round of spooky tales and ghostly encounters.
The first tour of the fall season is the Guyandotte Cemetery Ghost Tour which takes place Friday and Saturday Sept.10-11. This after dark tour will take place inside the iron gates of the oldest church cemetery in Cabell County which dates back to 1804.
The tour will depart from the back yard of the Historic Madie Carroll House located at 234 Guyan Street (directly behind the VFW in Guyandotte).
Tour departure times for both nights are as follows: 8 p.m., 8:15 p.m., 8:30 p.m., 8:45 p.m., 9 p.m., 9:15 p.m., 9:30 p.m., 9:45 p.m., and 10 p.m.
The tour is free and open to the public and there will be a sign-in/information tent located near the Madie Carroll House barn.
Digital cameras are welcome and flashlights are highly recommended. Due to subject matter this tour may not be suitable for very young children. Tours will last approximately 30 minutes.
