Though his partners have died, Everett Lilly still performs at age 84 with his sons.
Other living artists named Tuesday are: bluegrass duo Wilma Lee and Stoney Cooper; opera soprano Phyllis Curtin; saxophonist, flute player and arranger Robert Drasnin; and bluegrass performer Charlie McCoy.
Deceased performers to be honored in a November ceremony are jazz singer Ann Baker, songwriter Maceo Pinkard, country legend Red Sovine and polka bandleader Frankie Yankovic.
