Here's a look at some other biker events in the region, including the super-sized EasyRiders Rodeo:

2nd annual Timberline Open Motorcycle Rally: Aug 27-29, at Timberline Four Seasons Resort in Canaan Valley. Situated at 3,200 plus feet, the weather is 10 -15 degrees cooler than most areas in the region. This area has hosted multiple West Virginia HOG rallies, BMW Riders Association (the only duplicate destination for that group), the Concourse Owners, the Blue Knights and many others. Lots of live entertainment, vendors, a non-judged car show, and many more family-friendly activities. Call 1-800-SNOWING or go online at www.timberlinemotorcyclerally.com.

EasyRiders Rodeo Tour: Sept. 2-6, 344 Fairgrounds Dr., Chillicothe, Ohio, at the Ross County Fairgrounds. No minors, weapons or glass bottles. Cameras allowed. There will be camping and showers on-site. Go online at www.easyridersevents.com or call 1-800-962-9857.

2010 West Virginia H.O.G. Rally: Sept. 1-4, Charleston. Go "hoggin" on the boulevard in downtown Charleston, where the city is closing down Kanawha Boulevard for a block party and bike parking. Planned activities include opening ceremonies on the Capitol lawn, "Ride Like A Pro" safe riding technique demonstrations, guided ride to a working coal mine with a hog roast lunch, "Raw Hide Ride," NASCAR simulator, ladies ride and luncheon, USA-sanctioned boxing, guided and self-guided rides to Blenko Glass Factory, West Virginia Motorcycle History display, poker runs, bike events and vendors and A Taste of West Virginia- H.O.G style. At the close of your great day of riding, enjoy nightly entertainment at Haddad Riverfront Park. Go online at www.wvstatehogrally.com or call 304-389-5325.
