If you go: Greek Fest
WHAT: The 26th annual Greek Fest
WHERE: At St. George Greek Orthodox Church, 701 11th Ave., in Huntington. Turn off of Eighth Avenue between the old Huntington High School and Ritter Park.
WHEN: 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Friday; 11 a.m. to 8 p.m. Saturday; and 11:30 a.m. to 5 p.m. Sunday.
SPECIAL ATTRACTIONS: Dancing at 6 p.m. Friday; 1, 4 and 7 p.m. Saturday and 1 and 3:30 p.m. Sunday, as well as Greek folk music, church tours, a gift shop and a guest speaker.
HOW MUCH: The festival is free as is the entertainment and church tours. The church sells a wide array of fresh-made Greek food to raise money for the church, outreach ministries and charities.
