There’s an insect invasion in Cabell County and not just those swarms of awakened cicadas.

The V Club, corner of 8th Street and 6th Avenue, hosts  a little Saturday night Beatles invasion with the first ever regional performance by Pete Best, the original drummer for The Beatles.

 Best is bringing in his band of Englishmen to rock the joint, and out on the new patio will be Charleston’s own Beatles tribute band Rubber Soul. Joe Pritchard, formerly of The Recipe, will also be there as well.

Tickets are $15 in advance or $18 day of the show.
