Carroll House Heritage Day is Saturday, Oct. 5

HUNTINGTON — The Historic Carroll House Heritage Day is set for Saturday, Oct. 5 in the Huntington neighborhood of Guyandotte.

The House opens for tours from noon to 4 p.m. The annual Old Time Music Barn Dance will go from 6 to 9 p.m. It is free and open to the public though donations are appreciated.

In addition the event, which is happening in conjunction with the Guyandotte Community Swine Fest, will feature ghost tours of the house and adjacent cemetery beginning at 7:15 p.m. Friday, Oct. 4.  The ghost tours are fundraisers for the Carroll House, a tax-exempt project.
