Hurricane church plans to host a pipe organ concert on Sept. 16
HURRICANE -- Isabelle Demers, an organ professor at Baylor University in Texas and a doctoral graduate of The Julliard School of Music in New York City, will perform as part of PipeSounds at 3 p.m. Sunday, Sept. 16, at Forrest Burdette Untied Methodist Church, 2848 Putnam Ave., Hurricane.
The concert will be followed by a reception.
Admission is $10 for adults, $5 for students and free for children under 5.
Funding for the even is provided by he Putnam County Bank in Hurricane.
