Local students participate in WVU match day

MORGANTOWN -- Fourth-year medical students across the country opened envelopes at noon March 15, to find out where they will be doing their residencies.

Those from Cabell County include Daniel Joseph Crowder, pediatrics/neurodevelopmental disabilities, WVU and Oregon Health and Science University; Sameera Sue Kumar, radiation oncology, University of Kentucky Medical Center; Sunjay Null Mannan, family medicine, Forbes Family Medicine; Carolyn June Marcelo, internal medicine, Virginia Commonwealth University Health System; Catherine Joy Marcelo, internal medicine, Virginia Commonwealth University Health System; and Meghan Shaffer Taylor, emergency medicine, Ohio State University Medical Center.

Those from Putnam County include Michael Derek Brown, pediatrics, Cincinnati Children's Hospital; and Paul Anthony Ghareeb, plastic surgery, Emory University School of Medicine.
