New club for dollhouse, miniature collectors

Apr. 06, 2013 @ 12:00 AM

WAYNE -- The Wayne County CEOS Organization is organizing a new special interest club called The CEOS Dollhouse & Miniature Club.

The club is designed for those who collect dollhouses and miniature objects on a 1 inch scale. These include furniture, interior decorations, dolls and items like books and clocks. The club will offer advice on refurbishing dollhouses and miniatures.

The club will meet on the second Tuesday of each month. The first meeting is 10 a.m. Tuesday, April 9, at the Grace Missionary Baptist Church. 660 B St., in Ceredo.

Frances Cisco, a Kenova resident with 20 years of experience with dollhouses and miniatures, will be the lead instructor for club meetings.

Those attending the meeting will need to bring a 14 inch square of fabric, needle, white thread, straight pins with a large head, scissors, ruler, and pencil. Bring a bag lunch. Anyone is welcome
