Schedule for 22-act Huntington Music and Arts Festival set for Saturday

HUNTINGTON — The schedule has been set for the fourth annual Huntington Music and Arts Fest, whose gates open at 11:30 a.m. Saturday, Sept. 28 at Ritter Park Amphitheater.

Here's a closer look at the upcoming festival as well as the HMAF-sponsored pre-parties and after party

The festival includes 22 indie acts from around the region and the Eastern U.S., Also, the festival includes more than two dozen visual artists, eight vendors and free interactive kids art projects from 1 to 8 p.m. Also, free visits to the West Virginia Music Hall of Fame’s mobile museum. 

Tickets are $15 advance at Black Sheep Burrito and Brews, the V Club and from any band performing. $20 day of show. Kids under 12 get in free.

PRE-PARTY BLACK SHEEP: Velvet Elvis and Traci Ann Stanley at Black Sheep Burritos and Brew, 1555 3rd Ave., on Thursday, Sept. 26.

PRE-PARTY V: On Friday, Sept. 27, the pre-part will feature Morgantown rockers, Goodwolf,  Cincinnati rockers Mad Anthony and Huntington punk rockers Stations, at the V Club, 741 6th Ave., Huntington. Cost is $5 if you don't have an HMAF ticket.

AFTER-PARTY: At the V Club with DJ Charlie Brown Superstar topping off a really cool night of hook-laden rock with Martinsburg's The Bishops and then a West Virginia all-star set with Billy Matheny being joined on stage with Bud Carroll and Adam Meisterhans (formerly of Demon Beat).
