First Party on the Patio of the season set for Friday, April 19

HUNTINGTON -- The Greater Huntington Park and Recreation District is kicking off spring with the first Party on the Patio featuring bluegrass band Hammertowne from 7 to 11 p.m. Friday, April 19, at Heritage Station.

The free concert, sponsored by First Sentry Bank, features drink and food vendors. Some of the Heritage Station businesses, such as Bottle and Wedge and SIP Wine Bar, will be open during the program.

Based in Eastern Kentucky, Hammertowne features Dave Carroll, whose songs have been cut by acts as The Lonesome River Band, Russell Moore and IIIrd Tyme Out, Lou Reid and Carolina and Junior Sisk and Ramblers Choice. Other band members include: Scott Tackett, Brent Pack, Chaston Carroll, and Doug Burchett
