Clay Center announces three more shows including OCMS
CHARLESTON — What does Old Crow Medicine Show, Lyle Lovett and Discovery Channel stars Mykel Hawke and Dave Canterbury have in common?
All are showing up soon at Charleston’s Clay Center.
Lyle Lovett and His Acoustic Group — At 8 p.m. Friday, May 10. A singer, composer and actor, Lyle Lovett has broadened the definition of American music in a career that spans 14 albums, including his latest, "Release Me." Coupled with his gift for storytelling, the Texas-based musician fuses elements of country, swing, jazz, folk, gospel and blues in a convention-defying manner that breaks down barriers.

Old Crow Medicine Show — At 8 p.m. Friday, May 24. Best known for "Wagon Wheel," these folk rockers blend together traditional Appalachian String Music with bluegrass and alt-country for a toe-tapping show full of boundless energy, spirit and personality. You'll be hooked on the inventive way they spin traditional and new songs with amazing spontaneity on banjo, harmonica, stand-up bass and more.

Mykel Hawke and Dave Canterbury — At 2 p.m. Sunday, July 14. Learn survival tactics and techniques from the stars of "Man, Woman, Wild" and "Dual Survival" in this unique show. Get all the tips and tricks you need to outlast the great outdoors from Special Forces veteran Mykel Hawke and professional survival instructor Dave Canterbury. Tickets are $15.
Clay Center Presents Spring 2013 season ticket holders can buy tickets for all three shows now, and eligible Clay Center members can purchase tickets Friday, April 5.
