St. Joe student receives Rotary scholarship

HUNTINGTON -- St. Joseph Central Catholic High School senior Elizabeth Sutfin has been awarded the 2013 Huntington Rotary Club Scholarship.

The award is worth $1,250 per year for up to four years while a student at Marshall University.

She has maintained a 4.0 grade point average, served as president of the Key Club, was a member of the National Honor Society, attended Girls' State and was the captain of the cheerleading, soccer and tennis teams.

She is the daughter of Ken and Sue Sutfin.

The scholarship was founded in 1992 and is awarded annually to a senior at St. Joseph, Grace Christian or Covenant Schools who meeting the criteria and plan to attend Marshall.
