Hillbilly Hotdogs featured tonight at 11 on Travel Channel

A national TV audience will get a taste of the wild and wonderful Lesage, W.Va. hot dog company, Hillbilly Hotdogs, as the quirky restaurant is once again featured on cable TV.

Owned by Sonny and Sharie Knight, Hillbilly Hotdogs will be featured at 11 p.m. Wednesday, Jan. 9 on "Hotdog Paradise 2," that is seen on The Travel Channel.
 The show features such quirky Hllbilly Hotdogs standards as The Homewrecker, as well as the egg dog, pepparoni dog, the junkyard dog and the nacho dog.

Restaurants featured in the episode include Lafayette American Coney Island in Detroit, The Whistle Pig in Niagara Falls, N.Y., La Perrada de Edgar in Miami, Fla., Hot Diggity in Philadelphia, and Doggie Style in Alameda, Calif.

Hillbilly Hotdogs, which has been featured before on the Travel Channel, as well as The Food Network's "Diners, Driveins and Dives," is located in Lesage, on Route 2, and they also have a restaurant in downtown Huntington on Third Avenue near Marshall's campus.
