Larry Cable Guy and Bill Engvall coming to Huntington Arena

HUNTINGTON — Tickets go on sale at 10 a.m. Saturday, Feb. 9 for an upcoming concert featuring two of country’s biggest comedians.
Project Live LLC Presents Larry the Cable Guy & Bill Engvall Live in Concert at 7:30 p.m. May 17 at the Big Sandy Superstore Arena
Tickets are $25, $49.75, $59.75.

Larry the Cable Guy and Bill Engvall, who garnered world-wide recognition as stars of the “Blue Collar Comedy Tour” to downtown Huntington for one show only.  Larry’s signature “Git R Done” and Bill’s signature “Here’s Your Sign” are sure to be heard throughout the show.

 Larry has not been to Huntington since his near sell out in 2009 and this is Bill Engvall’s first trip to the Big Sandy Superstore Arena.  Reno Collier and Gary Brightwell will also be on the bill for the evening comedy show. Along with his own line of merchandise, Larry has created The Git-R-Done Foundation, which was named after

Larry’s signature catchphrase, and has donated more than 7 million dollars to various charities. Currently, Larry is the host of “Only in America with Larry the Cable Guy” for the History channel. Larry is the voice of the beloved Mater in the Golden Globe winning animated feature film “Cars” (2006) and “Cars 2” (2011) from Disney/Pixar.

Larry has won Billboard’s 2005 Comedy Artist of the year and Comedy Album of the year and he received the Billboard Top Comedy Tour Award in 2006. He is a Grammy nominee, multiplatinum recording artist and bestselling. Larry was named to Forbes Celebrity 100 list in 2006, 2007, 2011 and 2012.

 Multi-platinum recording artist and Grammy nominee, Bill Engvall will voice an animated character in a new show for CMT currently titled”Bounty Hunters,” which also stars Larry the Cable Guy and Jeff Foxworthy. The show will begin airing in the summer of 2013. Prior to this Bill was the host of the game show Lingo on GSN.

 He also starred in and executive produced his own self-titled sitcom for TBS, which ran for three seasons. A star of the big screen as well, Bill has appeared in several films including “Strawberry Wine” with Christina Ricci and “Delta Farce.”  

In 1997, Engvall won the “Best Selling Comedy album” award at the annual NARM convention, outselling albums by Chris Rock and Adam Sandler. Bill has written several books, including his autobiography, “Bill Engvall – Just A Guy” from St. Martin’s Press on May 15, 2007.
