Knitting, crocheting workshop offered at MU

HUNTINGTON -- Do you want to get hooked on knitting and crocheting? Marshall University professor Dr. Glenda Lowry will be offering some free workshops teaching both skills.

The four-week workshop will meet Tuesdays and Thursdays in Corbly Hall room 355 on the Marshall campus. Craft artists of all skill and ages are welcome. The classes are open to Marshall students and staff as well as community members.

Multiple classes will be offered. Times are 9:30 to 11:30 a.m., 1:30 to 3:30 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m. on Sept. 9, 11, 16, 18, 23, 25 and Oct. 1 and 3.

The workshop is free but participants will need to supply materials (yarn, knitting needles and crochet hooks).
