DAR chapters plan regional meeting

SOUTH CHARLESTON, W.Va. -- The Kanawha Valley Chapter Daughters of the American Revolution will host the annual Western District Meeting and Luncheon on Saturday, July 20, at Berry Hills Country Club in South Charleston.

The West Virginia State Society Daughters of the American Revolution is divided in five geographical districts. The DAR Chapters in the Western District are Anne Bailey, Barboursville, Buford, Colonel Charles Lewis, John Young, Kanawha Valley, Old Hickory, Westmoreland and William Morris. Mrs. Kathleen Bledsoe of Huntington is the Western District Director.

Registration begins at 9 a.m., and the meeting begins at 10 a.m., with lunch served at noon. The price is $25, and for registration information, call 304-263-6502.
