Christmas programs scheduled at schools in Tri-State area

Area school orchestras and choirs will present concerts and plays beginning Tuesday, Dec. 10.

Tuesday, Dec. 10

Barboursville Middle School: Band concert, sixth grade at 5:30 p.m., seventh grade at 7 p.m., eighth grade at 8:30 p.m., Barboursville Middle School.

Cabell Midland High and Huntington High Orchestras: Christmas concert, 7 p.m., Cabell Midland High School Auditorium.

Cox Landing Elementary: "A Storybook Christmas," 1:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m., Cox Landing Elementary School.

Hite Saunders Elementary: "The Reindeer Whisperer," 6:30 p.m., Hite Saunders Elementary.

Milton Elementary: "A Holiday Moosical," 1 p.m. and 7 p.m., Milton Elementary School.

Thursday, Dec. 12

Milton Middle School: Christmas concert, seventh- and eighth-grade choir, seventh- and eighth-grade ensemble, 1:30 p.m.; seventh-grade choir, 5:30 p.m.; eighth-grade choir, 6:45 p.m.; seventh- and eighth-grade ensemble 8 p.m.

Friday, Dec. 13

Huntington East Middle School: Orchestra Holiday Concert, 7 p.m., Saltwell Campus.

Saturday, Dec. 14

Tri-State Youth Orchestra: 16th annual Christmas Concert, 8 p.m., Ballroom of the ARTS Renaissance Center on 8th Street, Huntington. Admission is $5, children 12 years and younger are free.

Monday, Dec. 16

Salt Rock Elementary: "Jingle Bell Jukebox" 1:30 p.m. and 6:15 p.m., Salt Rock Elementary.

Tuesday, Dec. 17

Barboursville Middle School: Fall Orchestra Concert, sixth grade at 5:30 p.m., seventh grade at 7 p.m., eighth grade at 8:30 p.m., Barboursville Middle School.

Huntington MIddle School: Choir concert, 6 p.m., Huntington Middle School.
